Getting Started

What is Magic Minutes?

Magic Minutes is a board governance software for SMEs, written with consultants and NEDs in mind.

What can I do with Magic Minutes?

With Magic Minutes you can more easily and efficiently:

  • Prepare for meetings by managing attendees, keeping track of agendas, circulating and commenting on meeting papers
  • Manage meetings by effectively taking minutes and using real-time statistics to help you focus the meeting on the right part of your business
  • Drive performance by assigning actions throughout the meeting and then measuring and monitoring progress through the board action tracker platform

Where do I start?

First sign up to take part in our beta test to trial the software for free, or purchase it on the Sign Up page on the Magic Minutes website. Then create your account as prompted, enter your details, and click ‘Log In’ to see your homepage. Your ‘Meetings’ and ‘People’ tabs should appear on the left hand side.

Can I use Magic Minutes with multiple companies?

This feature is available but only on special request. Please enquire for further information by submitting a ticket in our support section.

What are the different user levels?

There are two levels of users depending on how much of the system they need to access. This allows you to run confidential meetings without the worry of the wrong people seeing its content.

A coordinator can access all meetings run within the company regardless of whether they attended them or not.

An organiser can create new meetings but can only see the meetings they have attended or been copied into.

To check, or change, a persons user level just head to the people section on the left sidebar.

Which subscription option is right for me?

To chose the right subscription think about the size of your company, and how many different people normally organise your meetings. For instance, if it’s always the same person, then our ‘Starter Package’ is probably for you.

But don’t worry, it’s easy to change your subscription if you find your package isn’t quite right for you.
