We Know What Makes Meetings Work

Magic Minutes is the brain child of Wellmeadow Consulting, who have been chairing and facilitating meetings (board meetings, sales team reviews, appraisals, product design, etc.) for over ten years. As part of our consulting work, we learnt that one of the most effective ways to drive change was through well structured meeting that held people accountable for their actions.

The first version of Magic Minutes was a VBA macro in a Microsoft Word document that, at the end of the meeting, emailed attendees a pdf version of the minutes plus all their actions.

We found that clients were asking for a copy of the VBA code to be able to run their meetings when we were not on site. However, sharing the code proved to be problematic, so the decision was made to develop a web-based application. In 2016, the first version of the Magic Minutes application was launched and we’ve continued to invest in developing the software ever since.

We remain as passionate as ever that effective meetings can change the way an organisation functions.
